How to Use the Codes? Three Ways

Three ways to integrate the codes into your prompt

  • Place the code before the prompt (most codes are a prefix). Example: /humanize Write me a LinkedIn post about AI for small businesses.
  • Place the code at the end of the prompt (codes like XRAY, RICE, ICE work as a suffix). Example: Suggest 5 content ideas for this week. RICE
  • You can combine multiple codes. Need human and sharp text? Stack them: Write me an email to a client delayed in payment /sharpen /humanize

How to Choose the Right Code?

Frequently Asked Questions on Claude Codes

Yes, most of them work nicely in ChatGPT and Gemini too. They are built as natural instructions in Hebrew/English, not as a unique feature of Claude. There might be different nuances between models, but the principle is the same. If something does not give the expected result, simply add an explanatory sentence after the code.

Not mandatory. The slash (/) is just a visual convention that helps Claude understand this is a command and not part of the text. You can write humanize without a slash and it will work. But the slash keeps the code clean and separates it from the prompt, so we recommend keeping it.

Codes that direct style or response form (like /humanize, /sharpen, /editor) come before, because they set Claude's mode in advance. Codes that direct analysis or presentation form (like XRAY, RICE, ICE, EISENHOWER) come at the end, because they operate after the prompt has been presented. In the PDF, it is marked next to each code where to put it.

Definitely. Stacking is the secret. For example: /humanize /sharpen /cta Write me an email to a client who hasn't replied to me in two weeks. Three codes, precise output. But don't exaggerate, beyond 3-4 codes it starts to confuse Claude. Choose the strong ones.

The codes remain in English because this is the standard language of prompting and they have precise meaning in LLMs. If you write the same thing in Hebrew (for example /humanize in Hebrew) it will also work but less consistently. The prompt itself, the text after the code, can and should be in Hebrew.

Do I have to write the code with the slash (/) specifically?

Not mandatory. The slash (/) is just a visual convention that helps Claude understand this is a command and not part of the text. You can write humanize without a slash and it will work. But the slash keeps the code clean and separates it from the prompt, so we recommend keeping it.
